okay, kind of a stretch there, but yeah, bad choice of words. Let me rephrase..positive thoughts.

Actually it made me laugh becuse first you said

"I know it won't make any difference"

Then you said you were sending out possitive vibes.

They just sorta counterdict each other. Great intentions though, It just struck my funny bone is all.

I read today that Brian has already been in touch with Michael J Fox and Muhammed Ali. Keep fighting, Rasta!

I love Brian Grant, and I'm glad that it looks like treatment for Parkinson's is getting better and better, and further that stem cell research restrictions are being lifted.

All that said, I just noticed that there's a striking resemblance between Brian and Trevor Ariza:

??? Implying that you home Ariza gets Parkinson's?

Because they sure don't look alike.

As I stated before, I hope the best for him and it seems like he has a good attitude in this situation.

Hate to see this happen to anyone, but especially to such a classy guy like Grant. In this discussion, his career achievements mean nothing to me. What counts is he is a damn good person who loves his family and stays humble. I know you'll pull through BG.

I like BG, but the guy cheated on his wife, multiple times. Good guy image, but his behavior is worse than Damon who's often villified here, IMHO.

OK, I admit, I still really like BG (I just get tired of villification of other players for petty stuff). I feel really bad for him - Parkinson's at 36 is a bitch.

Here's the thing I don't get. He's really cleaned up his nutrition and started to exercise regularly now that he has the disease, and he says it's helping. It seems like we all should start eating whole foods and exercising BEFORE we get Parkinson's or some similar disease.

My wife and I are both 45, so 36 is looking pretty young. I've been regularly exercising for almost a year, but I really need to do better. (I haven't lost much weight because my appetite has gone through the roof!)

Hopefully, all of us can learn the lesson - start exercising regularly and eat whole foods. Let's make it happen.

I think it's safe to say Brian was exercising. But eating correctly is a general good idea. Can't prevent heritable diseases, though.

Unfortunately for a lot of the world's people, just eating, period, is a big challenge.

I still have my band-aid from game 6 of the semis against Utah. Remember that? I stuck it on my computer and when I replaced the computer kept the band-aid to put on my new one.

He said in the interview that he wasn't exercising - he was depressed.
