George King said back issue not sure if it is serious. I just laughed when I read this. I thought he would at least make it a month. Drew anyone?

Just add him to the list of disgraceful Cashman moves.

He has played 192 games the past four years. This is quite a shocker.

Brian Cashman thought this was a good move...he barely hit his weight and then got hurt. Roberts is BEYOND a has been. How the hell does he keep getting chances, he needs to retire.

It happens in every sport. There's always that one GM who thinks the reward outweighs the risk.

...Cashman is the only GM that think low risk/high reward moves are worth it sometimes?

I hated the Roberts signing and there is no way thy can contend with this patchwork infield. They need to sign Drew or swing a trade. Romine will come up today but he is not hitting in AAA. Still perplexed at the off season moves this team made.

Dropping like flies... NY will be lucky to have half it's opening day roster playing by June, it was a safe bet to see most everyone on this team go down, but I remained positive, oh well.

And I don't see how the still jobless Drew was such a great idea, unless fans think the Yankees didn't spend enough this off season and should have given him 3 years/$40, talk about a dumb idea, yes they need a better 2B, but that was always a trade move waiting IMO, they have young players to offer near the dealine so it's just F'ing stupid to complain about 2B right now.

I'm still amazed how year after year this man still has a job. At this point I'd rather see a 75 year old Gene Michael at the helm.
