Now that Phil's gone I'm rooting for Sergio to get his frist major. I think it's time.

Another good day from Sergio.

Stricker shot 64, nice round. He'll be paired with Serg tomorrow.

Tiger shot 69, he's out.

Um, woah?

Harrington is in the middle of a Van de Velde...

I guess I need a new avatar now.

CARNOUSTIE, Scotland (Ticker) - Carnoustie served up yet another amazing, unpredictable British Open climax on Sunday - and at the end of it Irishman Padraig Harrington was the winner.

The 35-year-old Dubliner beat Ryder Cup teammate Sergio Garcia by one shot in a four-hole playoff.

They had had 20 top-10 finishes in majors between them without a win, so the joy for Harrington was inevitably mixed with relief.

For Garcia, the waiting goes on.
