He narrowly missed a fifth on Thursday, with the Devils falling 1-0 in overtime to Tampa Bay. Brodeur last Monday was named the NHL's defensive player of the week.Brodeur is 24-15 with a 2.55 goals-against average and .909 save percentage this season. His highest season average was 2.44 in 1994-95, his second season in the league.For his career, the Montreal native has recorded 79 shutouts, seventh on the all-time list. He has a 427-232-109 record and a 2.19 career average.
