Ratner Keeping “Nets”?
March 12, 2008, 5:41 pm There has been speculation, fueled by Brett Yormark, that the team might not change just its location but also its name. On Tuesday, however, the team renewed its ”Brooklyn Nets” trademarks, according to a website that monitors such changes. Trademork.com notes the team didn’t feel a need to renew the trademarks before so wonders if the filings could mean “the Brooklyn Nets name is a go”.
