WTF? He's going to sign the one year tender? He wants to join K*be in LA?
please tell me you're joking
please tell me you're joking
It will suck to see Roy in the Purple & Piss.
That interview kind of worried me...
WTF are you talking about? He said he currently has one year left on his deal (Which is true if he doesn't get his extension).
Roy says contract extension 50/50. Not close to being done yet.
maxiep playing the role of LakerLanny.
Lovely.
C'mon, it's the offseason. There's no reason why this can't be fun.
Don't joke about this, man. Blazer fans everywhere are a volatile bunch right now.
KP should not give him the stars and the moon to stay with the Blazers. He should be offered a fair deal that keeps him in town but also doesn't overpay him. I hope that KP is less easily swayed by emotion than many on this board, and I would bet that he is.
I didn't listen to the interview. I don't have to.
Roy wants to get paid. I don't blame him. If he comes on and says that he wants to be a Blazer forever at any price, he's just undercutting his position.

Why not? People are seriously overreacting to a perfectly normal negotiation.
Exactly what the fuck is there to negotiate? The team goes as Roy goes.

Ed O.
Roy wants MORE years, not LESS...it really doesn't make any sense as to why KP is dicking aroundMakes me glad that I don't have an emotional fan base overreacting to each of my contract negotiations. I guess that is part of the business, but people need to realize that any party that is not willing to walk away from a negotiation is going to get hosed. KP has a whole bunch of these coming up and I'm sure is providing the appropriate amount of pushback.
And why is KP the only bad guy here? Roy and his agent are on the other side. Nobody knows what was offered to Roy. R-E-L-A-X!
