...every franchise's fan base has some sick individuals who express their passion the wrong way... though this is a serious incident, it shouldn't be an indictment on Dodger fans as a whole.
...hope the poor guy makes a full recovery.

I agree that every fan base has there share of crazies but the last 2 major incidents came out of LA. That poor SF fan has permanent brain damage & now this. Seriously what the hell is wrong with people? Its a fucking game.

Which is why I said that EVERY fan base has there share of crazies.

It's just a shame how fans can turn into animals (and that's probably in insult to animals) over a game.

...lol...it's not just fans.

...don't forget this;

I read somewhere recently that Juan Marichal & John Roseboro ended up years later becoming very good friends.

^^^oh yeah, they had a great documentary on it awhile back...I think Marichal even spoke at Roseboro's funeral...and spoke about their friendship at his HOF induction speech.

...I'll see if I can find it.

The book "The Bums" reveals such a deep animosity, almost hatred, b/t Bums,NY Giants, and more bad blood b/t the Yanx and Bums.

Chivalry got so bad, the book points out, deaths that occurred b/t Yanx and Bums Fans. One incident in particular, was a heated convo b/t 2 opposing Yanx-Bum Fans, during a 1950 era W.S. Where a Fan was stabbed to death on top of the Produce in a Supermarket.........died on the spot, or apples..........

i watched the whole 23 minutes Ron, thanks for finding that.

I just hope they find that idiot "mother & son" and
they get convicted for assault & battery.
