American twins Bob and Mike Bryan finished off a 6-7 (2), 6-3, 7-6 (3) victory over Rohan Bopanna of India and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan on Wednesday to reach the French Open doubles semifinals.
The top-seeded Bryan brothers are seeking their second title at Roland Garros and 11th Grand Slam overall, which would tie the Open era record set by Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.
"We've been kind of looking at that since the Aussie Open and talked about it a little bit," Mike said. "That's another huge record."
The Bryans' quarterfinal was suspended because of darkness a night earlier at 5-all in the third set.
"Definitely it was hard to sleep, because you're actually thinking about each serve you're going to hit," Bob said.
