...yup, the media may not have the nads to bring up Manny, Ortiz, et al, but Buck sure does...good for him.

Unfortunately Lackey strikes me as being as dumb as a bag of rocks so I doubt he caught onto who Buck was referring to. But I sure hope Ortiz knows.

Well David Ortiz stomped his feet and claimed to have no idea how his name could've been on the list. That was apparently good enough for everybody.

"Today (2009) I was informed by a reporter that I was on the 2003 list of MLB players to test positive for performance-enhancing substances. This happened right before our game, and the news blindsided me.

I want to talk about this situation and I will as soon as I have more answers. In the meantime I want to let you know how I am approaching this situation. One, I have already contacted the Players Association to confirm if this report is true. I have just been told that the report is true. Based on the way I have lived my life, I am surprised to learn I tested positive.

"Two, I will find out what I tested positive for. And, three, based on whatever I learn, I will share this information with my club and the public. You know me -- I will not hide and I will not make excuses."
 
5 years later and nothin'. He's a fat Obama (Dominican, not Kenyan).
 
I remember Lackey sniveling last season about A-rod and the 2009 ALCS. I agree that Boston had it's share of Druggists but Lackey in my view is still the most despicable member of that team.

Lackey is brutal and Showalter got it right here but for the most part Buck Showalter is an unbearable bitch who never stops whining
 
Remember how Red Sox fans were busy chanting "P-E-D-S" in the ALCS after Jhonny Peralta got a run-scoring hit? Bunch of hyprocrites, those fans and that organization. It's unreal how they are still like this after all their success in this century.

Now Shrek is either one dumb SOB, (who the hell wouldn't know what they put in their body, or their PT stuck in their ass)....? Or- he's one lying cheating pompous fool playing the Public like a bad soap opera. Playing to a Sympathetic Boston Press, who did more than cover his ass, and glorify him despite his B.S.

Shrek's right he didn't make excuses, he made more of it, he flat out lied....!!! Intolerable Roiders the lot of 'em. Excuses of epic proportions IMO...!
 
I never cared for Lackey either, even here in 02's W.Series in Anaheim...!

Tho' I have a hard time believing Cruz or Encarnarcion are clean either. Masking Agents....? We've been thru this before, a familiar subject....!

Bout puked on MLB News, when Cruz launched one off Strasburg, & the Anal-ists, basically said, "since they have drug testing now in place, we KNOW he's Clean", - yeah and we know my Mule smells like roses too....!

I wanted to believe everyone would be clean at the start of the season, (and we posted as much), yet, I'm not buying "everyone is clean", as one thread said, basically - "if I could get away with it, I would keep doing it, til they caught me"...!


Burn 'em all at the stake, and use Lackey as the torch to light the pile, with Shrek right in the middle of the pile of shid...~
