Bugger. I always thought it was the obviously right choice (CV is Chris Gatling II) but I didn't expect the Bucks to see it.

Brandon Jennings has bad sources.

"That money is for Charlie"

I think they learned their lesson from Mo Williams. When they didn't show much attention to him approaching his RFA period, he took it as they didn't want him there. He was even pissed when they matched his offer. This time they are not making that mistake.

No Sessions? Oh well, I still wasn't convinced of the guy's ability to take us to another level. But what worries me is all the names that were available out there are quickly being snatched up, and the more I think we might not do something.

Imaginary cap space!

It's this thnking that made a lot of us scream at the deadline when the Blazers didn't trade "the greatest trading chip in NBA history"

KP will pretty much have to do something to save face I think. Maybe even *gasp* trade some of our youth for a better player.

I hope this means we won't get Sessions. We don't need to take a risk on an unproven PG.

Unless they are going to do a Sign and Trade why would you draft Jennings? Are they going to trade Jennings? It doesn't make any sense to me. Our options grow less and less. This summer has been pretty banal thus far and I gotta say the available talent pool is about as deep as Paris Hilton's dinner time conversation.

I mean, it's not terrible that we enter next year with the same group of guys who finished fourth with 54 wins. But every other team, even the scrub teams, are improving.
We all seem to know the weaknesses of this team, and if we don't address, I'll be pissed.

This is such a huge opportunity to add something big to this team, and take us to another level. I hope KP doesn't blow it with this being what the team has looked toward since two years ago.

It would be terrible

1. KP will have let two really good opportunities go by for bringing in more talent

2. Other teams have gotten a lot better

3. OUR PG SUCKS!!!

I'm shocked the Bucks don't extend Villenueva the qualifying offer, it would only be for $4.5 million. They don't even want him on a 1 year deal at that price.

CV31 has already twittered he's gone.

@CV31 Well, i would like to thank my milwaukee fans, for 3 great years, and Senator Kohl, but my journey in Milwaukee has come to a end,

Charlie V sounds like the 'big-name' FA signing that Chris Wallace will do this summer. Do it Chris, overpay him for $9-10 mil a year.

Why not try to s&t Charlie V? Seems like a waste to let him walk.

What, specifically, was the really good opportunity he already let go by?

The tired argument in defense of KP's inactivity at the trade deadline.

I will say the three players (RJ, Shaq and Kidd) that all moved right before the draft could have been had by Portland for little more then RLEC at the trade deadline. Better yet, last summer when RLEC was first wasted. Any one of them would be better then any free agent we can sign for 7 million.

It is highly unlikely nothing was possible with a 13 million dollar expiring contract when 8 million worth of expiring contract netted Vince Carter.

It all about KP not wanting to part with any players on Portland's roster that actually get minutes. Mores the pity, seeing as how our starting PG is the 2nd worst in the WC (only Udrich is worse. If he doesn't start for the Kings, then Blake moves down to worst).
