Buford May Be Out 4-6 Weeks
Rodney Buford tore ligiments in his ankle in Utah Saturday night, and may miss the next 4-6 weeks. Brian Scalabrine may miss some more time with his bruised knee as well. The Nets are expected to sign Donnell Harvey to replace Buford, and may get Ron Mercer back this week as well.

I guess we need mercer come back ASAP.

Journeyman 6-8 forward Tremaine Fowlkes, whom the Nets were likely to sign to a 10-day contract, injured his Achilles in an NBDL game on Saturday.

This made me laugh

Jabari Smith, who is averaging 4.2 points, drew big laughs after practice when he donned Carter's Eastern Conference All-Star uniform and emerged from the locker room claiming, "I made it!"

Buford was just getting better too, but now he's out. Having planinic and mercer back will be good, if mercer can shoot over 40%. Is planinic's hand really back to game form, or did they just pull him off the IL just in case?

Donnel Harvey is avg 9.9 rebounds in the CBA, so i'm expecting maybe 4 or 5 from the get go hopefully. It's good to see Thorn and Stefanski aren't sleeping on the job.
