Bazemore has been pretty shit tbh and looking at his numbers from last year, I’m not sure it’s just a guy adjusting to his new team. He’s only been marginally better than Tolliver and Hezonja offensively. Defensively he’s graded out above average, but he also averages nearly five and a half fouls per/36. He’s only been a positive in plus/minus in four games. For comparisons sake, Hezonja is at six.

There’s a guy sitting in Memphis that would be a significant upgrade and just so happens to line up with Bazemores contract.

But in the meantime, I would think about cutting his minutes and giving them to Nas, or maybe even giving Trent a real look.

Was thinking Harrison Barnes for Bazemore, but the contracts don't work out and not sure they could realistically make them work out. I'm also of the minority here who likes Barnes. If were using him as basically a 3 and D player I think he's both a better shooter than Baze and about the same if not better then Baze defensively he's also played with GS, and on Olympic teams. He and Hood I think would be a good set of forwards. It doesn't work though so not sure why I keep typing lol.

Bazesnore vs Hezonja. Hezonja was justifiably benched. Bazesnore hasn’t, and is stealing minutes from someone who is ten years younger and arguably better. Why?
