Who cares? Americans can't make up their own mind so they believe what the liberal media tells them. That's my biggest problem with the media and the American public. The media thinks the American public is too stupid to figure things out, so the media "tells" us what "really" happened or what it really means. And part of it is the general public's fault, they just can't make up their own mind. They need someone to tell them what is right and what is wrong. They need someone to tell them what are "facts" and what aren't.The whole issue with that is about 80% of the media is liberal, so people get fed liberal opinions and they take those as facts. I'm in no way, shape or form saying that the conservative media isn't guilty to this as well, but it's just a fact that most of the media is liberal.
 
Yeah...that liberal media that believed everything GWB told them with the lead up to Iraq...blaming the media is something Republicans have been doing since Vietnam, Billy Kristol of FoxNews (and a big Republican and editor of the WeeklyStandard) has said the media isn't liberal and that it's just politics being played to discredit the media by Republicans. The media doesn't sway one way more, media bias is overblown.
 
The US has uncovered audio tapes of Saddam talking about his WMD and chemical weaponry (dated in 2000), do you see those making headlines?And the War in Iraq is being covered awfully. Do Americans even know what we are actually doing over there or do they think our soldiers are over there just to be giant targets?

Well, I guess that is your opinion. I think the mission is worth it, personally.

Do you think we will be able to go in there, liberate a country and rebuild a country from the ground up in a matter of 2-3 years? This is the kind of mission that takes a long time, same thing with the War on Terror. Just because a war isn't producing "results", and results can be different to each person, doesn't mean it isn't a worthy cause. The Iraqi's had nothing before the war, atleast now they have hope for a better future. They have better schools, better health care, more water and electricity, more political freedoms and the money they bring in to their country will actually be used to help their country instead of stuffing Saddam's pockets.

A political catch phrase that 55+ nations are united together in. A catch phrase that has stopped terrorist attack after terrorist attack and has caught terrorist leader after terrorist leader. A catch phrase that has shut down terroist camp after terrorist camp.Just because President Clinton didn't do anything about the growing increase in terrorism in the 1990's doesn't mean it's right. The War on Terror is legit and it will be going on for decades and decades. If you don't want to believe in it go ahead, I'm just glad people like you (no offense) aren't running this country.
 
I would hardly call countries catching terrorists 'a war on terror'...they simply woke up and starting catching people after being stupid for so long...
 
No, a lot of countries are now ACTIVELY involed in the War on Terror. They are putting more and more funds into intelligence and military operations to capture and kill terrorist cells inside, or outside, their borders. You'd be surprised how many countries are involved in the War on Terror.And you know what I find interesting about most liberals? They say the right lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction, yet President Clinton used Saddam's WMD program in 1998 as evidence for his bombing campaign Iraq.

I remember in 5th grade when Clinton ordered some heavy bombing. Clinton believed their were WMD's, so did Bush's father but GWB Sr. said going into Iraq would be a disaster and it's one of the reasons GWB Sr. and GWB rarely talk.
 
That is true, President Bush's father told him not to go into Iraq but he wouldn't listen. I'm glad he didn't, but each person has their right to their own opinion. And thanks to President Bush, the Iraqi's do, too.
 
Yeah...life in Iraq is great...over the weekend Iraqi's couldn't leave their homes...they had a day curfew because of the hundreds getting killed. Freedom rocks.

Freedom rocks.</div>Right now in some areas life isn't so hot but in a lot of places, mostly controlled by the Kurds, life is pleasant. There are only a few "hot spots" in Iraq.
 
But those hotspots are in the most populated cities...The Kurds kick <Censored>, I love the Kurds. I just picture them as StarWars wookies or something...'awww look, it's a kurd'.
 
I heard somewhere that <Censored> Chaney's approval rating is at an all-time low followin his hunting incident...How does the VP even have an approval rating? The VP does nothing, hes just there if something happens to the president and needs to take over..How does he have a low approval rating if he doesnt do anything to begin with..What is there to not approve of?
