...used to like his stuff but this guy has gradually inched his way onto my shit list...he evidently lives in a fantasy world and I'd be willing to bet he's never played a competitive organized sport in his life...he just doesn't get it.
...how in the hell are you going to stop a team from retaliating for any number of incidents?...by handing out fines/suspensions?...well, we've had both of those for years and it has not changed anything.
...now, am I condoning throwing at someone's head?...of course not. But drilling someone in the hip sends a message, and the right message IMO. There is simply no way for sure if any HBP or subsequent HBP is intentional or not...only the pitcher himself knows for sure and let's face it, the control of even the best of these MLB pitchers is not always perfect, because if it were, it does not explain the thousands of unintentional walks given out every year by these supposed professional pitchers.
