18/6 in 17 minutes. I know it's just preseason but I think this guy is for real. Like All-Star for real. We're gonna be really good this year and even better next season as Nurk and Swanigan get more experience.
Your post is a pretty decent dude who has pretty decent ideas about things. You silly rabbit, allstar games are for non blazer players

That thought has crossed my mind....Imagine if everybody created new threads for every thoughts that crossed their mind.
Your post sounds like an asshole
Only two players in the last 25 years averaged at least 18.5 points, 12.5 points and 3.0 assists in a season. Tim Duncan was one. Swanigan was the other. He’s also the only player in 31 years to score at least 640 points, grab 430 boards and hand out 100 assists. Swanigan was the Big 10 Player of the Year, first-team all-conference and won six league player-of-the-week awards.
Key statistics: 18.5 ppg, 12.5 rpg, 3.0 apg, 3.3 tpg, 0.8 bpg, 32.6 mpg, .527 FG, .447 3PT, .781 FT
He was fine on D last night. No worse than anyone else. His motor is amazing though! From nba.com:
No surprise he's great. He's not a great decision-maker on defense which is why he didn't go #1. That being said, by my eyesight, he's not as bad as some scouts have suggested.
Is this a quality post or adding to your quantity of posts? An all star after one meaningless preseason game thread. And in another thread somebody said THIS guy posts actual content and I don't?
Who invented liquid soap, and why?Imagine if everybody created new threads for every thoughts that crossed their mind.
I just liked a post by BGD. Hell hath frozen over.
We're really liking how the programmer did, not the computer itself.
That makes me feel better when I do.
Collins is the PFOTF....
Biggie should start right away though. When Zach is ready to start Biggie should be the 6th man getting starters minutes backing up both C and PF.
This is Vonleh's 4th year. Before going on about pre-season, sample size, etc, consider this: Noah Vonleh has played 162 regular season games for the Blazers. How many of those games has he looked as good as Swanigan did against Phoenix in his first game ever? I'll grant that the number is not zero, but it's certainly less than 10.
Last year Vonleh, with 41 starts and playing 72 games, never once scored more than 12 points in a game. Caleb beat that number after playing around 12 minutes, going on to get 18.
Noah had 9 games last year where he pulled down more than 9 rebounds. Caleb grabs 6 his first night. Noah pulled down 6 or more rebounds in just 24 games, or 1/3 of the games he played last year. Rebounding and hustle is supposed to be his calling card. .
Swanigan (age 19) is way, way ahead of a 3rd year vet (age 22) who was our starting PF for most of last year. It's just plain as day.
The big question in my mind is if you want a really young Zach Randolph-type at PF (Swanigan) or more of an Andre Kirelenko-type (Collins). Who fits this team better in the long-term? How do those piece line up with our Big 3? Aside from (hopefully) the emergence of Nurkic, I think this could be the big defining story of this season.

I'm going to hold judgement on any bigs Portland has until I see them play against other quality NBA bigs.
The Suns do not have any sort of quality in their bigs. Chandler is their best big and he can only play 10 minutes a night.
Remember, last preseason everyone on this board after the Phoenix game thought Vonleh was going to make a jump.
Calm your tits.
