The HCP Jr. saved up and got an Xbox one. We have been trying for the last three hours to hook it up to our home Wi-Fi, and no matter what we try it doesn't work.
Or other devices iPads phones etc., are getting a signal. Says..... Can't connect to DHCP Server
Thought I'd was cool actually that Microsoft knew "D'HCP" got an Xbox
Help FAMS!

Is it new in the box or hot off the corner?

And if it is hot can he get me one?

the new xbox ones can have a hard time with wifi, get your router closer, or go wired if possible. Or if your router is old it can not like it, or something.

other than that its some over my head shit with GHz comparability and importing IP dongles.

Maybe reset your router then try again?
My son's Xbox one connects to our wifi without any issues.

Isn't that code an improper password or network code?
I can't remember as I haven't touched my ps4 in a couple months.
I changed the password to my account, and I had a similar code pop.
Your son is going to want to play wired though.

Just hard wired it for now. You guys are useless.
I feel like I remember having to go into my router settings and opening certain ports.

Check Microsofts solutions if you haven't already. If you've got a closed NAT you may have to open certain port numbers so that your router can communicate with the xb1.

I'm fairly confident that you will have it working on wifi if you follow that guide. It's pretty clearly stated but let me know if you're having trouble with it.

I had mine hooked up to wifi no problem for the longest time.
I had mine hooked up to wifi often as well as wired. Wired was faster and better. I also occasionally hooked my PS3 to a computer monitor I had that was way faster than my laggy plasma.

I was 27th worldwide on BF3 for tank kills when BF4 came out.

2000 hours plus of my life...

Every split second counts, especially when you're playing Brazilians who slow the game so much it makes South Park look like The Revenant. It was something to do with the way BF3 compensated for lag...ruined it for people with decent internet.

That sounds familiar. I think I had to do that also.

But you have to live in the suburbs! I'll take no XBOX and that city life son!
