Seriously, it's a bizarrely balanced frontcourt - Camby defends the opposing team's better interior scorer (tonight, Jefferson), gobbles up boards, and basically uses as much energy as necessary on defense to keep teams from scoring. Tonight, he gets what? Four points, I think, and 20 boards.
Meantime, Aldridge races downcourt ahead of his man when the Blazers get the ball, then he establishes post position if he doesn't have it immediately, and finally he either draws double-teams and kicks out or else beats his single coverage in any number of ways... Tonight? 27 points, but not a ton in the boards or blocks department.
Camby is the key on defense; Aldridge on offense. Who's more important? Your answer probably says a lot about your philosophy of basketball.
