Wesley Matthews says he's "not worried" about Marcus Camby, said he was walking w/o limp. Andre Miller said same, that it was just a "nick."

Talked to Marcus Camby as he left the Rose Garden: MRI on his left knee scheduled for tomorrow. Says there is "minimal swelling"

I think that sounds like at least a week. And guess what... the CAMBY THEORY LIVES. We play the Clippers on Thursday (his old team)! Not to emntion we will need him to have a chance vs their front line. They are playing very very well and without Camby... Blake will eat us alive.

"It just didn’t feel right when I put weight on it,'' Camby said of his left knee. He said he didn't return for "precautionary reasons"

Camby says he went up to block a Michael Beasley shot and "landed a little awkwardly." Tried running up and down court a couple of times ..

wont be funny if we lose to the kings without camby and rudy.

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like amputation is the way to go here.

I think he should go with pneumatic piston legs. He could jump right out of the building!

Stupid Blazers training staff would never go for it.

I'd say the best course of action is for everybody to overreact initially on this news. From that point, people can always walk back their posts. The most obvious thing is to assume the worst, though.

I prefer to not be like Mixum.

Negative for it exploding last night!

Negative for torn ligaments, meniscus damage or any of the other 7 knee-plagues that have been the norm for the Blazers.

Lol. I was just askin 'cause generally they test for something they had guessed might be an issue. Simply stating "negative," I figured they were testing for a few different problems.

shit. quick says don roberts needs to look at it. jenson said its abnormal for camby to feel so much pain for a mild sprain.

Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby had a pronounced limp and winced noticeably as he walked Tuesday on his injured left knee.

As a result, the Blazers' training staff was not willing to endorse Camby's knee as injury free, even after the initial reading of Camby's magnetic resonance imaging was deemed "negative" by the company who performed the procedure.

Both Camby and athletic trainer Jay Jensen said they are awaiting Blazers' orthopedist Dr. Don Roberts to look at the scans before they will feel assured that no damage occurred Monday night when Camby landed awkwardly on the knee in the first quarter of the Blazers' 113-102 victory against Minnesota.

Jensen in particular said the high level of pain Camby was in was not consistent with a knee that has not been damaged. Camby, who said he has never suffered a knee injury, said he could not play if the Blazers played tonight, but added that he would accompany the team this afternoon to Sacramento, where the Blazers will play the Kings on Wednesday night.

"They are treating it as day-to-day right now, but I'm waiting to see until our team doctor looks at the MRI,'' Camby said.

The Blazers are listing Camby as a game-time decision. Guard Rudy Fernandez, who bruised his right knee in Monday's game, is also listed as a game-time decision.

If Camby is unable to play, coach Nate McMillan said he will strongly consider starting Joel Przybilla, who played his best game of the season Monday against Minnesota. Przybilla had six points and seven rebounds in 18 minutes.
