. I forgot a lot of it, but if any can help me with the slopes, graphs, equations, I'll truly appreciate it.

You need help on all that? Or just a portion? I think I might be able to help you on some of the problems.

14. x= 3 lol

I used to be good at all the slope things and all that, but that was during like freshmen year and I forgot all of it.

Haha, I actually had that answer, but that and section 3 was the only ones I knew.

1. Basically, that means that the line moves -3 across and 7 up, meaning that the gradient is -3/7, so -0.42

2. Moves -7 across, 0 up, so gradient = 0

3. Moves -1 across, 1 up, so gradient = -1

4. Moves 0 across, 10 up, so gradient = infinity (vertical line)

5. y=5x-13

6. y=2-x

7. y=-2x-3

8.
5x+3=-12
5x=-15
x=-3

9.
(6x-8)-(5x+9)=3
6x-(5x+9)=11
6x-5x=2
x=2

10.
7x-8x+4=5x-2
4-x=5x-2
4=6x-2
6x=6
x=1

11.
3(x-2)=18
3x-6=18
3x=24
x=8

12.
(3x+2)-2(x-4)=7
(3x+2)-(2x-8)=7
3x-(2x-8)=5
x=13

I'll do more later if you want

Geometry is the only math class that I liked in highschool....I never had a problem with plugging in numbers....

THis thread is pretty fun. I used to be good at all stuff but i'd forget it all right after I took the tests lol. Calculus sucks though, same with trig. I hope I can avoid all that kind of math in college.

13.
(x+2)/3=8/15
(x+2)/3=0.53(3 is recurring)
x+2=1.6
x=-0.4

14.
18/x=6
x=3

15.
5/7=10/y+2
5/7=10/14, therefore y+2=14
y=14-2
y=12

16.
Area = 3.6cm x 4.2cm = 15.12cm2
Perimeter = 3.6cmx2 + 4.2cmx2 = 15.6cm

17.
Area = 9mm x 9mm = 81mm2
Perim = 9+9+9+9 = 36cm

18. for the sake of typing, pi=#
Area = #rsquared
= 4x4# square inches
= 16# square inches (totally accurate)
= 50.2 square inches

Circum = #d, d=2xr = 2x4 = 8
=8# square inches (totally accurate)
=15.1 square inches

19.
Area = #rsquared
=81#
=254.5 inches squared

Circum = #d
=18#
=56.5 inches squared

20.
Area = #rsquared
root (36#/#)= radius
root 36 = radius
radius = 6

Circum = #d
=12#
=37.7 cm

21.
4x^5 y^2/2x^2 y = 2x^3 y

22.
(5x^3 y^2)^2 = 25x^6 y^4

23.
(6a^2-7ab-4b^2)-(2a^2-5ab+6b^2) = 4a^2-2ab-10b^2

24.
x^3x^6=x^9

Trapezium

29.
Equilateral Triangle

30.
Isosceles Triangle

31.
x^2+3x=0
-b+-rootb^2-4ac all divided by 2a

so, -3+- root(9-0) all over 2

(-3(+-)3)/2 = x

x = 0 or x = -3

32.
x^2-5x-24=0
(x-8)(x+3)=0
x=8 or x=-3

33.
3x^2+x-4=0
(3x+4)(x-1)=0
x=-1.3 (3 is recurring) or x=1

34.
3a + 6a^2
3a(1+2a)

35.
9b^2+12b+4
3b(3b+4)+4

36, 37, 38, you have to do this by yourself, as it is a graph (38 is a horizontal line on -3)

39.
y=4x-3

40.
y=-7/5x+5.8

41.
y=1/6x+3 1/3

42.
y=-4/3 x

43.

(1)x3 3x-9y=9
(2) 2x+9y=11

(1)+(2) 5x=20

subs x=4 in (1)

y=1/3

check in (2)

SDP = 15x15 = 225 square inches
RP = 64# = 201.1 square inches

SDP's pizza is bigger.

SDP = $9/225 square inches = $0.04 per square inch
RP = $8.75/201 square inches = $0.044 per square inch

SDP's pizza is the better buy

1 gallon = 128 ounces
therefore, 1 gallon = 128/8, eight oz glasses
you can get 16 eight ounce glasses from 1 gallon, but there are 1.5 gallons, so you can get 1.5x16 glasses from the pitcher. 1.5x16 = 24 glasses.

I deserve a merit (these stupid things given out at our school by teachers when you do something good)

Lol, what would Asian Zero do without you chingy? When I have math homework, I'm gunna make a thread, so you can do mine too.

Question: which grade and age are you in? Just curios because I want to compare it to when I did that sort of stuff in the different levels of school I've been through.

Btw, damn I hate math. My worst subject of all in school. Looking at that stuff, I can't even remember how to solve some of it. And I'm not too far removed from school either (the last thing we did was derivasion and logarithms, and I had some real trouble with that stuff).

<div class="quote_poster">Bahir Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Question: which grade and age are you in? Just curios because I want to compare it to when I did that sort of stuff in the different levels of school I've been through.</div>

I turn 15 next Monday and going into 10th grade starting tomorrow.

Damn, Swedish math must be somewhat retarded (although I'm not suprised). Some of that stuff we did your age, other at like age 17 or something.

I hated grade 10 math. Now, I have grade 11 math, which is not as hard, because I understand it all.

Asian Zero, you're freaking Asian! Shame on you!

laugh.gif
Haha. Just playing man. But chingy's pretty much got you covered. I never knew JBB was a place for homework help, but now that we're at it, who's willing to do my 5 page essay for English?

Wow I just remembered I had to do an English summer project. I just had to read 3 books and answer some Q's. SPARKNOTES baby

LMAO...I was thinking of the same racially sensative joke, but I didn't have the balls to say it......

Wow, Geometry was okay for me last year. I would've helped but chingy did it. LOL! He did your whole summer homework. You owe him a cookie, a big cookie.

Those were easy problems, I thought Geometry would be more difficult, I did all of that in Algebra 2/Trig.

22.
(5x^3 y^2)^2 = 25x^6 y^4

Shouldn't it be 25x^9 y^4?

chingy, I have just come to realize how bored you are. If you're willing to do someone's summer homework and actually have the time to do it as well, you need a girl in your life.
