Can we challenge the Spurs in the playoffs?

Spurs are hot and could still get the #1 seed. Or if they finish #2, it's still conceivable that we could get the #7 seed (we're only 3 games back.)

So... How do we match up with the Spurs? They choked last year. Are they a better matchup for us than the Spurs. Everyone says we shouldn't make the playoffs cuz we'll get smashed by the Thunder. But what if we play the Spurs?

seriously, why do you hate the portland trailblazers? there is no chance in hell we'd compete with the spurs in the first round. last year was a fluke, with memphis being the worst possible match up for them in the opening round. if you want the blazers to get better, then things have to get worse.

If were to place a bet on us beating any of the top 4 teams it would be on us to beat the spurs. I dont think we would though.

I appreciate the thread for what it is, but it seems so unlikely to me we will make the playoffs that I spend zero time thinking about potential matchups.

We're not making the playoffs, so no.

I seriously doubt the Spurs get past the 2nd round though. They are so old and tired most of their stars will be either crippled or dead after 5-6 playoff games.
