1) Much needed Blazers time off

2) The Civil War fit neatly into the gap

3) Miller announced as a starter - replacing Blake

4) Nate's injury, which, effectively, has yanked him as a coach for 4 road games

I'm hopeful that paves the way for the Blazers to acquire Wallace! (btw, 20 boards in the loss.)

I'm hopeful that paves the way for the Blazers to acquire Wallace! (btw, 20 boards in the loss.)

Wallace would fit in the sense that he's a really good wing defender and you don't have to call plays for him to be effective on offense, but his jumper is so shoddy he'd cripple the ability of the Blazers to spread the floor. In isolation I really like Wallace, but for this team I'd probably favor Battier if he ever comes available this year.
