Vince Carter, who’s been to the mid-season classic eight times; Yi Jianlian, who picked up 450,000 write-in votes last year; and Devin Harris, one of the East’s rising point guards, are all on the All-Star ballot, released Tuesday. Carter and Harris are listed as guards, Yi as a forward. Paper ballot voting runs through Jan. 11. NBA.com and wireless voting begin Thursday and go thru Jan. 19. The game is in Phoenix Feb. 15.

Anyone think Yi won't be a starter for the East at F?

You can't control how people vote but I know that I won't be voting for Yi. Not until he has proven himself to be deservant of that honor.

Isn't Yi gonna be in the rookie-sophomore game this year again?

KingSpeed must be in charge of putting the ballot together if it's out already.

With Yi on it, I don't see why he can't be a starter. That's done by voting (baring injury), and we've got most of China voting him (and Vince) in.

china didn't vote t-mac in last year.. dont expect them to automatically like Vince and vote for him.

I just want to point out that most of Yao's votes came from PAPER Ballots (if ya'll dont believe me, search the net, it's out there and it's been proven)...meaning the majority of his votes came from AMERICA. ESPN spreading false information, FTL. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Yi got voted as a Starter....the least he could do is avg a respectable 15 and 8 before the All-Star game, so peeps can make a case that Yi is atleast a borderline All-Star.
