Entertainment industry bible Variety reported Friday that CBS has decided to cancel "Battle Creek," the offbeat crime drama set in the Cereal City.
The show's final episode will air May 24, Variety said. There was no immediate word from CBS. Variety and Entertainment Weekly cited unnamed sources for their reports.
Variety said weak audience ratings doomed the show, which stars Josh Duhamel and Dean Winters.
