Good grief. It's amazing to me how some of you parse each and every word uttered about the Blazers to try to twist it into a negative. Saying that if Oden plays 60-65 games the Blazers can do some damage in the playoffs is not the same as predicting that's all he's going to play. Teaching Williams to "play the point or off the ball" at an NBA level would apply to every rookie guard in the league. It's not a knock on Williams to say he has some stuff to learn. Does anybody think that Rose didn't have a few things to learn his rookie season?

And MM, it really isn't necessary or helpful for you to use every fricking thread as a chance to tee off on Nate. We're all pretty familiar with your opinions (obsession) on the matter.

I consider it pretty common for players to have some sort of injury here or there throughout the year where they miss a few games. 60 to 65 is a little low for my taste, but I would take it. I seriously hope Greg gets to play 70+ this year.

In the past Nate has had a hard time keeping good players from playing when they are hurt, but I think a good coach has to be able to tell players "no" from time to time.
