From ESPN Insider:

22. Dallas
Jeff Teague

Position: PG
Height: 6-2
Weight: 175
Age: 20
School: Wake Forest Analysis: This would be a pretty big slide for Teague, who thought his floor was No. 19. Actually, he could go as high as No. 10, so his range is pretty big.
Dallas would have to be doing back flips to get him here, and, as it happens, he's got some Devin Harris in his game.

23. Sacramento (via Houston)
Omri Casspi

Position: SF
Height: 6-9
Weight: 211
Age: 20
Country: Israel
Analysis: The Kings need toughness in the worst way, and Casspi can deliver. He's not the most skilled player in the draft, but few players possess his grit. As an added bonus for the Kings, they don't have to pay him to come over yet.

24. Portland
Eric Maynor

Position: PG
Height: 6-3
Weight: 164
Age: 21
School: VCU
Analysis: This would be a pretty big slide for Maynor, who could go as high as No. 13. But with so many point guards on the board, in this scenario, he slides a bit and Kevin Pritchard picks up another home run in the draft.

Obviously this was written before the massive trade KP just pulled off to move up two spots, but I think I'd be pretty darn pleased with an option to pick between these three guys... wouldn't you all be?

In order:

--Teague
--Maynor
--Casspi

I'm a big Maynor fan but If Teague slipped this far you have to take him.

I've been a big Teague fan for a while, still not sure we need another PG though

Why not?

Blake is a journeyman player. Sergio has flashes of brilliance once in a while but isn't going to be a starter in this league. Bayless is a SG trying to learn to be an NBA PG and that's a daunting task. It could be done, but the odds are against him. If either of the two PG's above have potential to be NBA material at their natural position, then give them a shot. It sure as hell isn't a step down.

Care to list the entire first round? If you just give the NAMES, it should be "fair use".

1. Griffin
2. Thabeet
3. Rubio
4. Evans
5. Harden
6. Curry
7. Hill
8. Holiday
9. DeRozan
10. Flynn
11. T.Williams
12. Henderson
13. Blair
14. Clark
15. Daye
16. J.Johnson
17. Lawson
18. Mullens
19. Jennings
20. Hansbrough
21. Young
22. Teague
23. Casspi
24. Maynor
25. Budinger
26. T.Davis
27. Summers
28. Jerebko
29. Collison
30. D.Brown

Much slippage of a few PGs (Jennings, Teague, Maynor) with guys like Daye and Mullens going in the teens.

This seems reasonable to me... or at least pretty probable, given how important size is in the draft.

The thing about the Kings and Casspi and "needing toughness"---they've got 4 years of Andres Nocioni locked up at the SF spot at 8M per. How much more "toughness" do you need at the SF? If anything, they need to trade us Spencer Hawes and the #4 for Joel--and we'll take Udrih's contract.

Well, the Kings want Flynn and Casspi: we trade for the #10, take Flynn there, and trade Flynn and Casspi to the Kings for the #4 (Rubio/Curry) and some salary they want to dump (maybe including Nocioni).

Works for me!

6.2 has a couple differences

Off the top, they have Rubio 3 to OKC, Harden/Curry to MIN, Holiday to NYK, Flynn dropping to MIL at 10.

Then I skipped to 22 (Casspi to us), Teague at 24 and Brockman (!) at 25 to OKC and Calathes 26 to CHI.

I seriously doubt Casspi will be in our training camp. It would also be surprising to pass of Teague for Casspi if we are keeping the pick.

If we draft Casspi it will be to stash him for another year, I'd bet.
