I guess the main part of the post, aside from the point that I have stated as to being in poor taste, pretty much explains my feelings about this poster that you continue to stick up for. Lanny , for the past year I have watched you pile on every left wing fuster cluck, bang the gong with harsh comments and defend the same crap that I have bagged on the poster for doing.

Honestly, just boggles my mind..how can a guy, that appears to have been a boy scout, go to the dark side (as to not offend, this is a disclaimer, the last sentence in intended in jest)

I was a boy scout. We met in the church building that I now attend.

Before that, I was a cub scout. I was a very good kid. Fished, swam like a fish and helped old people. Never told a lie until I was in my teens. Never ever missed church.

Am I a Liberal. Unabashed Liberal. That comes from caring for the disadvantaged as I was taught in my Church.

Ahh..as someone that is intimately familiar with the practice...tell me, who are your "experts"

I have a son who is as die hard conservative as anybody on this thread except maybe Maris.....I love him...we don't agree about politics at all so we just don't talk politics...to me this forum in OT is just like an irish pub....people are going to talk some smack. Whether it's about Trump or Hillary, best not to be about the guy on the bar stool next to you if you want to enjoy the pub

As to the heads of the CIA, never met them at SERE. I have not had much faith in them for decades.

I had a boss at Boeing who use to say that we had to have something, I just can't recall the word he used but it meant the ability to put up with crap from others. Personally, I find that very difficult to do. I don't want to let others walk all over me or anyone else.

But I do think I'd enjoy a pub whether it's in Ireland, Scotland, England or Germany (Ratskeller). I'm a talker but I do avoid controversial subjects except in here.
