So Ive been playing guitar for 15 years and believe it or not Ive never had a steel string acoustic guitar. Mostly played electric.Had a nylon string classical acoustic my Grandma bought me when I was about 15, had no idea what the difference was at the time and nobody at the store told me

Anyways Ive been cruising craigslist and found this badboy. Its made by CONN, a company that now only makes brass instruments. It was made in Japan in 1971!!! Its an old ass guitar! Japanese guitars at the time are known for their quality and durability. The thing sounds tits...and thats with 3 year old strings on it. Taking it to the shop to get it intonated and to get rid of some fret buzz on the 9th fret of the A string...besides for that its great! Sounds like a much more expensive guitar.
The dude lived 5 minutes away (amazing for LA craigslist) and I talked him down from 200 to 130! (I kick ass)...and thats with a nice hardshell custom case!
I love my new baby!

Check it out!
...oops, how did that pic get in there?
