So I'm bored and watching the Mets/Cubs game and it hit me...They have a crowded outfield with Alfonso Soriano, Matt Murton, Cliff Floyd, and Jacque Jones....so much so that a good outfielder in Cliff Floyd isn't getting much in playing time....at least as not as much as someone of his caliber deserves. Wouldn't it make more sense to move Soriano back to Second Base, and then play with an outfield of Floyd, Jones, and Murton....thus allowing all 4 of their 'Outfielders' to play, and moving the rather average Mark DeRosa to the bench.
Lou was having Ramirez hit cleanup. Soriano was third. Then again, he drastically changed his lineup every day so I'm not sure if hes planning on sticking with that or not. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Julio Franco at 3rd base? :LMAO:</div>He actually played Third for a few games last year as well. He isn't that bad there either, I don't think he made any errors there.
