Chinese Traffic Police Given 43 Years Life Expectancy

Chinese cities are battling to clean their polluted skies, especially the capital, Beijing, a year before it hosts the Olympic Games.

More than 90 percent of the 2,746 traffic police who underwent a check-up in Guangzhou had infections, the China Daily quoted the Guangzhou Hospital of Vocational Disease Control and Prevention as saying.</div>

That's crazy they're so filthy over in China and this just adds to the problem. What with the majority of new disease stemming from the country and their slavery abductions who the hell wants to visit anymore?

The IOC inspected Beijing in preparation for the Olympics and said that their air quality was too poor to hold the games. Not sure if they'll actually pull it out after investing so much time and money into it, but that's nasty.

China's the biggest example of the problems with unrestrained growth.

Its true it seems like every new disease or old plague somehow stemmed from China. Bubonic and SARS are the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure that just scratches the surface.

I always liked Japan better, it is the the technology capital of the world.

Yea and Japan is where many people ride the subway or MOSTLY bikes if they work nearby. My aunt (who is Japanese) has a bike which cant seat 3. Her two young kids and her.

I've been to Japan in 1998, such a nice place. Clean, pollution free ... and technologically advanced.

Clean .. yes, pollution free?! No way in hell.

However, I love that in many parts of the country it is so safe you don't even need to lock your door at night.
