Cho expects to make trade before deadline

Will that be before or after he analyzes things?

Al blew it when he traded Bayless, so he is defensive. Trading older for younger or picks is great though, and I am glad he is at least understanding that this team will be average at best the rest of the year.

I likes that he stressed keeping the bigger picture as the focus vs a "quick fix"

Wow lotto for next 5 years has been decided. Let's see how u all feel when we are year 3 of being the new twolves.

Seems like he has his head on straight... He should be defensive about that Bayless trade though. That was straight up dumb.

So since cho is blowing it up.....

I guess wins no longer matter. Therefore us concerned about batums MRI was all for not. Nobody should care about wins. We are in the 8th seed but obviously cho has decided that winning is not that important. Why should fans spend money on a garbage product?

Doesn't bother me. I'll just look at it the same way I'm looking at it now... The timing wasn't right. The Thunder were able to rebuild through the draft. The key is having intelligent people in your front office. We would be a contender right now if our guys weren't injury prone. It was a risk that KP took, and it worked out in the short term, but now we're seeing the consequences of those decisions. I'm not going to get bent out of shape or stress over this team anymore. Sports are meant to be fun, and getting in a funk because the team didn't live up to the hopes and dreams of this fan base is just shooting ourselves in the foot.

"I will be the first one to admit that I thought the New Orleans pick would be a higher pick. I will be the first to admit that," Cho said.

Fool. It wasn't hard to see that they'd be a playoff team with CP3 back from injury. You were looking at the 15th pick at best and I'm sure 15-18 are going to be occupied from the bottom playoff teams in the east.

Not expecting anything great back for Miller/Camby/Joel if they are traded, which is a big negative.

Yeah... I think a lot of us saw the writing on the wall. I hated that trade from day one.

Being in lotto for 5 years doesn't bother you? Lol that tells me a lot about you.

Now that's a stupid, reactionary, no thought applied post - about normal for you i guess. I like a GM who does not focus on a "quick fix" for a few more wins this season when we have no chance in the playoffs and it would be at the likely expense of not trading for assets to helps us have more wins over the next several years. Get a clue Mixum.

Do tell, good sir. I'm curious what you've read in the tea leafs about my inner workings as a human being.

If the being in the lotto for 5 years goes the same way your "no playoffs" prediction did last couple of years - it does not bother me one little bit.

Sorry I don't wanna be the fucking twolves. All you fools drinking the cho kool aid will be crying to fire cho when it's year 3 in the lotto. I saw this exact same plan with John Nash and the same fools bought it then. You need amazing luck to get out of lotto hell. And winning while retooling should always be the choice. This plan is for bad gms with non trading skills and pansy ass fans.

I believe it's called Chool Aid

We won't know if that trade was dumb for a couple years. Bayless isn't exactly setting the world on fire. He's a 15 minute a night guy on an awful team.

Can you read, he wants to keep LMA-Nic-Matthews as a core and add pieces. That's not a blow up it is a rebuild and he said wins are important, but it won't happen in one yr and we need to move Miler-Camby-Przy for decent pieces if we can.

Berger thinks it's pryzbilla. And if he does trade miller.... Sounds like teague is our guy.

Sounds like it's going to be hoping for the million draft picks to work out.

The difference of course is that this team has a 2-way good all-star level talent with room for growth in Aldridge (which the Nash era Blazers did not have, they had the offensive talent in Zach, but not the defensive talent) - the team also has 2 young wing defenders with some offense in Wes and Batum (either one is better than Webster which was the big hope of the Nash era) - and in addition it could potentially have a good to very good player in Roy (who knows) and a good to fantastic center in Oden (who knows) in addition to expiring and some other young, cheap assets to move around.

This had to happen, honestly. The injury to Roy might have killed the Blazers greatness potential - but it might have actually enhanced them if he can come back and be a good player again - because we and LMA now know that he (LMA) can be a legit #1 option.

At this point, Miller is not an asset to keep around, he should have been the final piece to a cake that is no longer around, Camby is great, but again, short term. Joel I will miss a lot - but this team has to look to the next year or later.

As long as the core of LMA,Wes/Nic remains and remains healthy - this team will not become the Wolves.

It just seemed like maybe should have more value than that.... but maybe I'm wrong.

Teague? guy has done Nada and Atlanta is PG starved - that makes no sense. Much rather try for Maynor from OKC

Thank you and well said, exactly how I view it.

Well, he's stuck with a move now. There's going to be a lot of moaning and groaning otherwise.
