Chris Benoit and Family found dead

World Wrestling Entertainment is deeply saddened to report that today Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their home. There are no further details at this time, other than the Benoit family residence is currently being investigated by local authorities.

Tonight?s Raw on USA Network will serve as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family. WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family?s relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy.

Wow, I haven't followed wrestling in a long time, but I'm schocked by this. A friend of mine went to the WWE in New Zealand at the start of the year, he said that outside the ring Benoit was incredibly nice and welcoming. Different websites are reporting it from around the world if you go to Google news.

Wow this is terrible. First Eddie Guerrero, now Chris Benoit. He was one of my favorite wrestlers when I used to watch it. Even though I am not a big wrestling fan now, its sad to see someone die after you watch them for so many years.

It is real folks, reported on regular news here in Chicago just a little while ago, really sad I almost can't believe it. This man was the only reason I kept watching wrestling in the early 2000's because he entertained without needing to have a big mouth. My favorite wrestler of all-time along with Bret Hart. I may not be a fan anymore of pro wrestling, but that doesn't matter because this isn't about the wrestling aspect, this hurts.

RIP to Christopher Michael Benoit and his wonderful family.
