Always making something out of nothing.

After the game, J.R. Smith, Tristan Thompson, LeBron James and Shumpert were talking in the corridor outside the locker room. Where they gathered was adjacent to the designated area where family and friends wait for the players.

All players, home or away, typically walk past the visiting team's locker room to get to their loved ones. Leonard, all alone, was headed that way. Seeing the Cavaliers quartet in his way, he lowered his head and marched forward.

This portion of the walkthrough felt like it went in slow motion.

James, who was standing on Leonard's right, shot a glare at the seven-footer. Leonard never made eye contact. The last player he had to pass before making it to the family zone was Shumpert, who was on his left looking directly at him.

You could feel the tension in that hallway. Leonard never stopped moving, nor looked up. It wasn't the time to be exchanging pleasantries. He made it through without provoking another altercation.

That was the extent of the Cavaliers' hostility.

The gauntlet...glad Meyers did the right thing and ignored those assholes. Chris Haynes is not going to make any friends with this story. Character wins. Respect...pass it on

I just hate on things I know nothing about.

I see nothing wrong with the excerpt, even no typos. Are you trying to bait me into reading the original article?

Usually I just comment without reading the article, so that, uh, I can let you guys know more than me about something.

So where is Jason Quick going to end up next year since every reporter that takes that Comcast job leaves within a year or two?

Seems like you could shorten the thread title quite a bit. Get rid of "a reporter ", add an "s" and you're done.

At least he's using there/their/they're correctly.

Baby steps.

Still...

Haynes >>>>>>>> Jabari

Really? Either this is bullshit or the members of the Cavs have the emotional and mental capacity of a 7 year old after you beat them at Mario kart.

Yeah that story is terrible. I've had cops do shit like that to me just because I was out and about at night too. My dad constantly got pulled over going to work at 3am and the cop would make up some bullshit excuse for pulling him over.

Cops have nothing better to do sometimes. They definitely were profiling Haynes if true

"But I backed out. I knew if I went through with it, everything would get out."

Like the dashcam video of him acting like an asshole, maybe?

wow.

I'd like to say I'm surprised you'd take this stance, but really I'm not.

My favorite part was when haynes compared his "local celebrity" to Lebron James' . . .

The officer involved should be fired but my question is why didn't Haynes share this story in 2013? Shocks me that a journalist would let a story like this not be front page ink the next day.

I stopped caring about Haynes as a reported when he became a mouthpiece for all of Khans BS with Batums FA. Haynes chases a headline like he is in the Sahara desert dying of thirst and just spotted a oasis.

It definitely happens. When Travis Outlaw was here, his brother told me that he was pulled over six times in one night.

Whatever happened to Outlaw? AFter that ridiculous contract the Nets gave him he is out the of league?
