The problem is that Matthews can't really slide up to play 3 right? So when Batum plays @ 2 it eats into crawford's minutes.

If you combine this with the Nash rumors I think I'd be willing to go:

Nash/Childress
for
Matthews/Felton

They save some dough (Matthews contract goes down, Childress' goes up), and Childress plays 3 well. Not sure why he's had such a tough time the last two years, but he was very promising as a young player.

Heck if they really wanted to save money I wouldn't mind taking Frye back (along with a lot of portland fans). With the way Aldridge has established himself in the post it might not be a bad move.

Batum and Wallace's compatibility and Felton being atleast being somewhat competent might be a turning point in this season. I'm not holding my breath though, I've been disappointed too many times this season. A nice 5 game win streak, or something after the AS break might change things quick.
