Online or live and in person? Where do you fall?

I kinda hate to admit, I went 100% online this year.

PS: I'm an impulse shopper (in other words, if it hits me immediately, I buy it). That said, I'm notorious for finding "perfect" gifts.
 
Probablt getting her a Lululemon gift card. She wouldn't normally shop there but I want her to get some yoga pants from there.

So, I asked my wife this morning, "What do you want for Christmas, honey?" She responds, "Wellll, since you asked, I'd really love a massaging chair." I'm, like, Ohh-Kayy(?)

She does have Scoliosis, so that was a huge factor. Anyway, I set out to find the exacting chair for her. Costco had a killer deal on what seems the perfect chair/features.

I researched for all of about 1/2 hour, and BANG! DONE!

It seemed so sterile.

Merry Christmas, baby. More surprise will be injected into your stocking stuffers.

It's not. The Costco employees all sit in it before shipping it.

I shopped both online and in person for the wife and that's usually how it works.
 
Finished today. Appears nothing from brick and mortar stores this year. We bought a new house, so that's the bulk of our Christmas presents to each other.
 
I'm really hard to shop for since I just buy what I want.

So I mentioned to the wifey I bought a new G shock watch.

She sent me a venmo for how much it cost and boom, that's my Christmas gift.

They hired me as a substitute sitter.
No Sly, that word is spelled with an 'h' and I no longer do that.
 
My wife buys what she wants and I gift it to her. I do the same. I'm a WW2 aircraft shirt fanatic and collected 32 shirts so far. The schematic diagram style is my favorite. These will be worth $ and I have seen them as "used" fetching more $ than they are sold.
 
My wife’s birthday was a week and a half ago, and having a newly acquired hardware store employee discount (and being the incredible romantic that I am) I bought her a………….rechargeable heated seat cushion!! She was less than impressed….until she tried it. I figured since we ate outside a lot last winter (and are likely to do so again this winter) one of us should have toasty buns. I used it this weekend hanging outside at Flyboys and it felt like luxury. But as far as it usually goes, she buys for herself at Xmas and birthdays, and I do likewise….

I've never heard of a whoopie cushion described that way before!
 
Ordered all my Christmas gifts online this year and they are delayed in the mail. Three different things where shipping from KY. A tornado must have hit the truck.

In all seriousness though, thoughts with people in KY. Looks like a real nasty natural disaster.

Horrible situation there and the worst timing for it....not that there's ever a good time but after the hurricane they're probably going to get a winter storm as well.

I was looking at some of the before and after pics and it made my stomach a bit queasy.
