What was the Knicks' record in 15-16 before and after his injury?

LOL they were 15-18 before his injury, but in those 33 games he scored a total of 7 points. Not 7 points per game - 7 POINTS TOTAL. He also had a TOTAL of 2 rebounds and 1 assist. He only played in 10 of those 33 games, and played a grand total of 34 minutes prior to his injury. So, you're claiming Early and his 7 total points in 34 total minutes is the reason the Knicks were almost mediocre for those first 33 games?

Here are his averages for those 10 (of 33) games he played in before his injury: 0.7 ppg, 0.2 rpg, 0.1 apg. Yeah, a real difference maker.

You know who he reminds me of? Trevor Ariza. Or even moreso, a player that was once on the Lakers, Devin Ebanks.
Both very good backup SFs

He kinda reminds me of Javaris Crittenton.

Didn't he get shot in the knee? Don't we have a rule about signing guys with shot knees? That said, I like the guy. He's a talented young. Has raw potential.

Young? The guy is older than 2/3 of our roster. Only Turner, Davis, Aminu and Dame are older.

They were 15-18 before his injury and 17-32 after his injury.
And I don't think he's anything like Javaris Crittenton who iirc is a PG

Ok, I understand you might think he's not that good because of BNM's 'Facts' but I didn't at any point pretend to ever have been following the Knicks and when I saw him play he was spectacular. Was never collecting big numbers either, just his overall influence on the game

Yes, they were, but as stated, he only played in 10 of those 33 games, for a total of 34 minutes and a TOTAL of 7 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

Tim Quarterman played more for us and contributed more (12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 36 minutes), after the all star break than Early did for the Knicks prior to his injury.

But we're talking about (target) practice man. What are we talking about? (Target) Practice? We're talking about (target) practice, man. [laughter from the media crowd] We're talking about (target) practice. We're talking about (target) practice.

@Blazer4ever When are you gonna start arguing that I should play in the NBA? I played one year of community college basketball, and decided to not go back. I'm a 6'5 SG. Just giving you some facts for your argument.

I've never seen you play but 6'5 is good size for a SG.

His numbers in the NBDL:

Very solid numbers in limited minutes.
I would really want him as the backup SF and then use our too-many SFs in trade/s
Do you know that the D-League, while being a part of the NBA, is different than the NBA? In fact, its a lower level than the NBA, meaning the competition is worse. The affect this has is it will make bad NBA players look average. Go look up Quartermans or Layman's D-League stats.

I used to be able to 360 dunk and I can handle the ball and pass well. I'm white as sour cream, so I'm not blazing fast, and I do have knee concerns, but I feel like you could formulate on arguement for me at least being on the Blazers Summer League team!

So you based your whole opinion off seeing him play once, and then ignored all the stats that show otherwise?

You're white and you could do a 360 dunk?! Sorry dude, white men can't jump

I know what I saw. He was great in SL. Never got a real chance in actual NBA games but it doesn't nessecarily mean he isn't worth it.
Take a guy like James Johnson for example, he's been in the league for years and only now got real minutes to prove himself. There are many examples. Stotts wouldn't play Tim Frazier no matter what. Some coaches can't identify talent

The thing with Johnson is he completely transformed his body. His good play wasn't really due to getting a bigger chance, it just gave him an opportunity to show his improvements. He still had good NBA qualities before hand, something I don't think Early has. Everyone knew Frazier could be decent if he dominated the ball, and that's what happened. He's still a fringe NBA player.

Early could've been playing his best basketball at the times you watched. To form an opinion based on the "eye-test", you have to see enough of a player to see him at his best and his worst.

That's me now. I can barely clear a phone book.
Same. Gained 25lbs since then and nite my knees are fucked up. Can't jump 100% without sharp pains in the patellar tendon. 75% is fine though :(
