- The Agua Caliente Clippers (8-5) cruise past the Mexico City Capitanes (4-9), 113-90, on Monday night in their first of two G League Winter Showcase games in Las Vegas.

Two-way guard Jay Scrubb led Agua Caliente with a game-high 24 points on an efficient 11-for-15 from the field.

Xavier Moon (18 points, 10 assists) and Moses Wright (10 points, 13 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles for the second consecutive game for the Clippers.

Mexico City was led by Jordan Howard's 19 points of the bench. Guard Mike Torres Cuevas led the starters with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

The teams were simply on two different planes from field tonight, with the Clippers hitting 60.5 percent of their shots (49-for-81) to the Capitanes' 39.5 percent (34-for-86).

Mexico City opened the contest with a quick five-point lead but once Agua Caliente gained control, they didn't look back for the final 40 minutes of the game. The Clippers led by as much as 28 on their way to victory.

Next up, the Clippers end their trip to Las Vegas with a matchup against the Long Island Nets on Wednesday afternoon. The game tips off at 3 p.m. PT inside the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada
