We've got a few tough games to end the month. We're BLAZING hot right now, how do you think we finish off the month?

Rest of December games:

12/18 @ Minn
12/21 vs NO
12/26 vs LAC
12/28 vs MIA
12/30 @ NO
12/31 @ OKC

I think we lose in OKC. They're going to be hungry for revenge, it's in OKC, AND I think the refs will be in full effect.

Miami is a question mark. Not sure how that game will go. Glad it's at home.

The NO games are trap games, especially so close together. Not sure if Davis will be back in time for those games.

Well, the injury happened right at the beginning of december, so he's out 4-6 weeks, so earliest would be early Jan (but most likely they are going to take the full 6 weeks for their franchise guy) So I do believe we'll miss him both times. Which kinda sucks for my own viewing pleasure.

I'd honestly be happy with 4-2, but I'm seriously concerned with our game against the Wolves tomorrow night. Hopefully we stay hot. I could definitely go for another Sub-zero game winner to make it 3 in a row!

I would love it, but damn... give us a blow out in portland's favor please. These last two games have been rough on the ol' stress. LOL.

Beating Minnesota, LAC, and OKC are all very important. Beating Miami is window dressing. It's a statement game, but it serves no purpose in the standings.

The New Orleans games are games that we SHOULD win, but it's always difficult to beat a team twice so close together.

Like when we beat sac back to back?

6-0

Hmm that is a tough stretch. This question really should be asked after the game tonight. I think we go 3-2 to end the year. So to answer this question, I say 4-2 if they win tonight or 3-3 if we lose.

I don't think we will ever play.500 ball in anything higher than 8 games. With that said, I want to be undefeated going into the stretch to end the year.

Most likely we will lose 2 games. I hope I'm wrong

We have 16 more games to be at 42 games or past the midway point. That 16th game is the last of that 4 game road trip, @SAS, @DAL, @HOU and @OKC.

And we went 22-4 in a 2month span. So what?

What does our overall record have to do with winning nearly back to back games against the same team? It's tough to do. We've split them in the past. Beating the Kings two times in two nights was extremely tough to do.

That will be the killer road trip. We'd be lucky to come out 2-2.

Does 25-9 still excite everyone?

That winning % would put us 4th in the conference right now

Behind the Thunder, Spurs, and ourselves?

A 25-9 record would be 4 full game above the current 4th place west team.

We’re undefeated against teams with losing records. Haven’t the Blazers proven trap games don’t apply to them? Giving effort hasn’t been a problem at all this year.

Not behind anyone in particular. I am just saying where it would put a team. I realize we could not be in two spots

No that’s not possible; if this “imaginary” team won 29 games other teams would have more losses.

Playing the same team so close together is extremely difficult. We got the Sac back-to-back, and I think we might have had a game and game with Utah, but it's one of the hardest things to do in the NBA.

I expect us to lose tonight, lose against Miami and lose against OKC. Both Pelicans games will be easy wins but the Clips will be a tough win so we go 3-3 which still gives us an awesome 12-4 record in December.

January starts very easy, CHA, PHI, @SAC, ORL, BOS, CLE. Right now we are 11-0 against the East and they have to travel far out west to play late games? Those teams are screwed. That streak is hitting 16-0 ignoring the Miami game. We win all six of those to pad some wins before the brutal Texas 4 games in 5 nights road trip.

We hate the Twolves, and Aldridge is going to be pumped to play Love. Plus, do you think Ruuuuubio can stop Dame?

The only times we’ve done it this year we are 4-0, so no I don’t agree. Those Pelicans games are 9 days apart. Its far more difficult to play good teams than playing bad teams multiple times. Its hard to play 4 games in 5 nights with travel. Playing a bad team with days off before both game is not difficult.

Our team is going to be very tired, 4 games in 5 nights. 5 games in the last week. The Twolves are rested at home and want to make a statement against the best record in basketball. As important as this is to us its more important to them. We’ve proven ourselves, they haven’t. I’d love to see us win and Love lose but I don’t like our chances in this one. Rubio is a hell of a defender. Love and Pek are horrific defenders. We need to attach their bigs. Going after Rubio is the last matchup I would target.

I think Rubio's defense is overrated. He's good at getting steals, but I'm not sold on him.

Denver was a mess trying to play JaVale in the post when we beat them on the road. So the only impressive road win we have is against a Golden State team missing Iggy. We’ve been taking care of business against the rest of the league on the road which is awesome, but I’m not going to start inventing unrealistic expectations for this team. Outside of that GS game a win tonight would be our best road win of the season.
