World No.1 Lydia Ko returns to action at the Coates Golf Championship Presented by R+L Carriers. Ko tees it up for the first time in 2016 at the site where she first became World No.1 in 2015. Ko came up just short of victory last season, making double bogey at the 71st hole to finish in a share of second.
LPGA officials suspended play Thursday at 12:45 p.m. at the Coates Golf Championship because of bad weather and at 3:15 p.m. announced the second round would not resume until Friday morning.

Lydia Ko returned Friday morning in frigid weather for a 15-foot birdie putt to finish the rain-delayed second round of the Coates Golf Championship.
Three putts later, she no longer was tied for the lead.
Ha Na Jang, who didn't even start her second round Thursday when play was halted by storms, shot an even-par 72 in temperatures that barely climbed in the 50s. She wound up with a one-shot lead over Ko (69) and Haru Nomura of Japan, who completed her 66 on Thursday in soft conditions.

An emotional Jang burst into tears after rolling in a birdie at the par-five 18th at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club to finally close the deal after four runner-up finishes last year.
