Uh! Very weird assertion. A guilty pleas can only mean the guy made a deal. It doesn't mean he is guilty or that any charge is true.
It certainly can't mean any other party is guilty. I am not even sure it means the crime charged even happened.

As I hear it, the crime reform bill we hear about coming is to restrict the prosecutors ability to make these sorts of deals.

Innocent people with the slightest integrity never plead guilty. You gotta ask yourself, would you? I wouldn't plead guilty in a Million years. This means that Trump only hires future felons. It also means that his previous hires are either felons or about to become felons. And of course, you've got to ask yourself, what does this say about Trump's integrity? Do you suppose he's like all the felons he's hired or is he worse? I think I know, I think I know.

Would you ever plead guilty to a felony you didn't commit when you know said guilty plea would relieve you of your 2nd amendment right?

Nah! But that is not what I hear the reform is intended to correct.
They want to eliminate this bargaining for testimony against someone, where by they get charged with a lessor crime, plea guilty and get off with no time. Just to get the other guy. So I am told.

I don't think you were told correctly, at least I can't find any reference to such a change in the bill.

And I think that would be a very counterproductive change to make.

Why don't you guys just say you're sure Cohen and Trump and crew are all guilty instead of make the pretend assertion that innocent people don't ever plead guilty?

People take the hit all the time in order to avoid the possibility of spending serious time in prison..

3 students claim you touched them inappropriately. They hate you for whatever reason and file false charges.

You risk 40 years in prison if you go to trial.

Or take a plea deal and do 3-5. Maybe you don't even have to register as a sex offender. Even if YOU stand your ground and take it to trial you don't think someone else would take the deal?

You know someone would.

That has nothing to do with the discussion. The question was do you think innocent people plead guilty? They do.

Because they can't risk the massive negative should they lose. It is really quite obvious.

Not in terms of Trumps goons. They are all guilty. They were all presented with evidence implicating them. They were caught and plead.

It appears Flynn is actually guilty of nothing. So what despicable threat did he avoid with his guilty plea?

This whole process is disgusting.
