Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn will star in the second season of “True Detective”. Farrell, 38, will be a detective; while Vaughn, 44, will star in the criminal mind Semyon Frank.
“The series will follow three police officers and a career tackle a complex criminal conspiracy, after a murder and will be written by Nic Pizzolatto,” revealed HBO. The director of “Fast & Furious”, Justin Lin, will take care of the first two episodes. The series will be produced soon in California.
The first season of “True Detective,” starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, was very successful, winning five Primetime Emmy Awards.
