Well that was a never ending story.

Loved Colt as a Duck while on the gridiron. I think we are looking at a guy where is life easily could end prematurely due to his life-style and probably would have already ended had it not been for football. He really needs to realize that football is saving his life and he should be good to it because it's been great to him.

I hope for the best for this kid, I really do. At times I wonder if he is suffering from depression or some other mental illness? I just don't see a guy who can find pleasure in anything.

I really do wish Colt the best and hope that all his problems are behind him and he can live a healthy life from here on in.

Quite an accomplishment Colt - you are so full of self-pitying bull-dada that even Canzano had to call you out and defend the Ducks.

A poster on an Oregon board looked at the Scout.com recruiting interviews with Lyerla, and could not find any quotes to corroborate Colt’s recollection that he favored USC, Florida or Oklahoma over the in-state schools:
I wanted to go to Florida, Oklahoma, or USC, and get out and just be on my own, just see the person I was without anything else, any of my former past behind me.​

No article quoting Colt can be found where he does not mention Oregon.
Maybe he didn’t want to go to Oregon, but if that is the case, he hid it pretty well.
