Comedian Patrice O'Neal dead at 41

Comedian Patrice O'Neal suffered a stroke in October and has passed away today, according to reports. The 41-year old was obese and had diabetes but is believed to have died as a result of complications from the stroke/heart disease.

O'Neal had his own show, Web Junk 20, for two seasons, in addition to appearing on the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, The Office, Arrested Development, Chapelle's Show, and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. O'Neal was a regular on The Opie & Anthony Show on satellite radio.

O'Neal was hilarious. He has one of the most memorable laughs as well. He was his own worst enemy though with his poor physical health.

He was probably the best comedian guest on Opie and Anthony outside of Norton.

For sure. When he was on you knew it would be a good show. His perspective was great.

Not sure if anyone else watched the Charlie Sheen Roast, but it's on Netflix streaming and I watched it just last week. Patrice O'Neal gets absolutely skewered for being fat and having diabetes to the point that he gets so pissed off during his own turn at the podium, calls William Shatner a racist (and means it), and destroys everybody else who spoke at the lectern.

It was incredible.

I didn't see him destroy anyone up there. I saw a guy who was whining and crying like a baby for showing up to a ROAST and getting ROASTED. Yes, the man of the hour was Charlie Sheen, but CC does roasts all the time and it's well known that everyone gets roasted during them.

O'Neal was known for ripping apart comics and people to a degree no one else could. He would rip apart fans that came up to him if they had a funny hat or a funny mustache. But when it was time for someone else to speak, at an actual event designed to make fun of people, he took it like a poor sport.

Not a Patrice hater at all, but he was a little baby that night.
