Before FBI Director James B. Comey began his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, President Trump was back, compulsively tweeting — and underscoring the growing perception that his allegation that President Barack Obama had Trump’s “wires tapped” is nonsensical, his attachment to reality fleeting and his concern about Russian interference in the election on his behalf is palpable. He tweeted: “James Clapper and others stated that there is no evidence Potus colluded with Russia. This story is FAKE NEWS and everyone knows it!” (Interestingly, he limited the denial of collusion to him, POTUS, only.) Certainly, he had been rattled by a parade of Republican lawmakers affirming there was no evidence of wiretapping. He was right to be anxious.

Comey did in fact confirm that the FBI is currently investigating Russian interference with our elections, including any links with members of the Trump campaign, and whether the latter constituted any crimes. A short time later, Comey lowered the boom. What about evidence of wiretapping, as Trump claimed in tweets? Comey was succinct: “I have no information that supports those tweets.”

Itzhak Perlman would be so offended by this.......the media wrote him off already.....he was a fool to give them all the ammo he's given them....not too slick from the cheap seats...Trump does fool some folks, but he's losing ground quickly......lies don't build trust...his go to move is...." In a couple weeks I'll have something to give you...taxes, wiretapping evidence, etc....but he knows two weeks is longer than Joe the Plumbers memory span

Yet they'll forget they were praising him just a few months ago for reopening the investigation into Clinton.

This is why both parties need to be made anew.

I don't really see much into today. All Comey said was that they were investigating. People act like they found evidence, they didn't. This whole russia/trump narrative is a creation, there is no evidence at all that supports it. We are talking about Comey here. the guy that also investigated clinton for her emails which she obviously was guilty for and any normal citizen that would of done the same would get prison time. Ties to russia? Clinton was making deals with russia as well as getting donations from them. This is all just hilarious to me. DO.YOUR.RESEARCH

I find it incredible that the FBI is investigating Trump and has been since last July. Down right weird when all the intel agencies can point to no evidence of any collusion between Trump and Russia.
Who started this investigation with no evidence? WTF???
Then Comey has the gall not investigate the outing of Flynn but he admits it is a very serious crime?

Well I think it time to shut this nest of snakes down. let Comey do his investigation with no evidence and when he completes the task, fire his ass that day.
Congress should not renew this Fisa snooping. The whole thing needs to be rethought, and redesigned. Then maybe reauthorized.

Well what happened was the left needed an excuse as to why Clinton lost to Hitler obviously Wikileaks embarrassed the DNC. So much good shit in those leaks that people refuse to look at or believe. It's obvious the powers that be didn't expect Trump to win, they thought they could mass manipulate. Fucked Bernie over just so Hillary would have her easy breeze to the white house. Shit even I thought Hillary was gonna win. People ignored the white dudes in the middle of no where out in all these poor small towns. Middle America was ignored. Middle America was tired of the political correctness and being told what to say and how to think. I am not saying Trump is a good president, he has his flaws but Hillary is a whole different level. She is the evil. She is the status quo of crooked politics. Her whole life. People saw that shit. She loses then these agencies scramble to come up with a reason for her losing. Russia comes out of no where despite the fact that hillary has actually been the one making deals with russia. No evidence. Julian assange confirmed it wasn't leaks. They got their emails straight from a source. Seth Rich might of been one of them, found murdered, "robbed". Nothing took off of him. Assange asked for a reward to find the killers of Seth Rich maybe implying he could of been one of the sources. Clintons have killed a lot of people off. Their hands are dirty, straight evil and lies sold to the public. I am no Trump supporter but it's obvious they have had it out for him since he came into office. Maddow bringing up 2005 taxes?!?! it's all part of it. Showed he paid taxes. They will not stop till he is out. Anybody who trusts CIA or FBI are fools. The CIA has been one of the most corrupt agencies EVER. So much dirt on their hands. It's crazy. Is what it is though. The trump slander will continue and shit could be made up so he is out of office, who knows. I consider myself a true liberal, these other "progressive" types, yeah not liberals. They are destroying society. They are the fascists. They try to shut down anybody with opposing views as them. Milo for example. Look like better information is coming over the next few days. Perhaps Comey should have been a little more forth coming.
