Could it be this simple?

Man wouldn't that be nice?!?! It would be great if Fernandez came back with new contacts and his shooting from the perimeter skyrocketed! One can only hope.

Yes. I thought his poor eyesight was the whole point of the three goggles?

That's what I thought too. But why in the fuck didn't he get them during the season?

lol, so patty was right all along? Maybe we should have him take a look at greg's knee next?

I don't know what a 3 Knees hand gesture would look like but sure as hell don't want anyone flashing them about Greg.

He's had glasses/contacts all along. saw a picture a while back with him wearing glasses.

Nike needs to make him a pair of prescription three goggles.

I know from first hand experience how big of a detriment it is to shoot when you can't see well. I started developing this nearsightedness in HS when I was playing ball, and soon could only shoot bank shots even from three (aimed for the white square) because I couldn't really make out the rim. Wearing glasses/contacts afterwards really helped my shot. I find it hard to believe the team isn't doing anything about it.

Ah hahaha that would be awesome if he comes back with glasses next season and shoots 50% from 3.

The Mikes always said Rudy could hit like 80% from 3 during practice and warmups and was so pissed at himself for misses in games. Maybe it wasn't mental, maybe he just gets dialed in to the spot on practice but in a fast pace game he can't quickly focus on what the correct distance is.

Game 6, kingspeed talked to me about Woodman's FT at warm ups. After he told me, I noticed how many he hit in a row. Something about the game, fans, pressure whatever, makes players miss the shot.

hmm, maybe he should wear fucking glasses in the game then

Where do you buy these fucking glasses? 14 years after the divorce, I could use those.

Yeah thats what I've heard and it's so odd. Didn't seem to be a problem for him in Spanish league or the Olympics. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery or a different role to get comfortable with his shot.

Like a change in scenery from this:

I think Mags is talkin about Brendan Haywood, and I can attest to this. Dude was hitting FT after FT in warmups, like 8 in a row, but in the game, when it counts, he's fuckin terrible. Lots of mental factors in this game, and I think that's Rudy's main problem. Hopefully he can fix it if he's still a Blazer next year.
