Just no appeal to me at all. I used to like it when I was younger but now I hardly watch. The home run derby as well which is way too long and listening to Berman is just intolerable.

I mean last night how many times can you listen to Berman repeat back back back year after year? I would switch over from what I was watching and the first round seems like it took two hours.

I agree 100% I'll watch the opening ceremonies this year simple because of where it is & who'll be there. ( I've heard several old mets (Ron Hunt, Ed Kranpool etc) I only lived a bike ride away from the stadium growing up And I watch some of the game through the outfield wall or from the #7 train over pass. But yeah, aside from that nothing about the all star game excites me anymore. Same with the NBA.
I am actually glad that I gave up TV... we don't have cable or DirecTV anymore... so I miss a lot of things, but with a year like the Yankees are having this year, I'm glad I don't have it... and I agree about the HR derby and All-Star game...
...I'm thinking about doing the same thing....already streaming some programs to my TV...free LIVE Yankee games too!
Hammer, I don't think the games are HD, at least not the ones I've watched, but it's not bad...the transmitter I have is a simple USB transmitter...works just like a wireless modem. You plug one into your computer while the other one is plugged into an input on your TV...and what ever your are watching on your computer can be viewed on your TV by using your remote control and switching your TV's signal input from cable/satellite to USB or HDMI or whatever kind of connector your transmitter uses.
...if you like, you can get an idea by trying that first link I posted and go to the top of the page and click "live tv"...then pick a channel and see what it looks like on your puter.
edit; I forgot, you can even do it with an XBOX or similar console too...here's a video showing how it's done...you can probably get a wireless streaming kit for less than $100
