Yes, it was legalized years ago. But Trump has spent years in court trying to deny citizenship to the child of a married same sex couple, both American citizens, who was born abroad. Children of citizens born abroad have automatic US citizenship. But he ordered state department not to recognize citizenship of this child because her parents are gay.
