I am really mad about this bullshiz. It's an obvious trap and it should be illegal. How the fudge do they justify charging over $400 for that infraction? Man, this is some real fascist crap. I wish some lawyer would tear North Bergan a new asshole. Hey, lukewarmplay, arent you a lawyer or in the process of becoming one? What do you think about this kind of garbage?

I'm no lawyer- maybe you're thinking of justasking? But I agree, that's an exorbitant amount. That's apporaching Virginia levels, and they're fighting it out in court over there. Did they offer the same deal to everyone, ZAE?

I'm not to sure, the prosecutor took everyone aside separately and made a deal with everyone, my court date was originally in October but I called and had it moved up. I assume everyone that got pulled over the day I did is still scheduled for October. I bet the city hits that spot whenever it needs money because I herd two cops talking about all the people they pull over "making lefts off Seacaucus Rd."

The judge saw me and asked if I pled guilty to the "unsafe driving" offience and I said yes. He told me at to go pay dow stairs and breafly explained the money, $250 goes to Motor Vehicle to take the points off, $33 in court fees and I'm not to sure about the rest, the orignal ticket was $85.

"To take the points off" sounds super sketchy, as does the whole process. Not sure how much you can do about, though. I can find out, if you're interested.
