Thanks!!! I really love watching this shit and it sucks that I can't see it. On reg tv

"Meyers Leonard is too goofy to know something bad is happening to him." -Antonio Harvey on Leonard losing his spot in the rotation.

Welcome to what everyones been saying since he got hired onto the "talking ball" or whatever it is show.

He just looks like a fucking prick. He has this "pompous" look to him. I don't like him and his attitude.

Jaynes was cool when he worked at the Oregonian and Portland Tribune. He started his blog and no one was reading it so he learned that you get a lot more attention being a jerk than you do a nice guy on the internet.

Look at Kerry Eggers, probably the best Blazer writer in town and no one reads him.

Jay Rosen said it best:

"How to be a contrarian. 1. Overdraw what people are saying. 2. Undercut what you overdrew. 3. Type: "Let's not get carried away..." 4. Fly."

I miss Oregonian-era (pre-toupee) Jaynes.

Adam Bjarnson's like the Ryan Seacrest of the Blazers.

Watch when he talks (especially when he stands, like in this "morning minute take": http://www.csnnw.com/blazers/stotts-best-coached-game )

He is always waving around his hands, and always cupping his right hand over his left. Notice anything?

What is that giant ring on his right hand for? He appears to go out of his way to get that in the picture. I'm sure he's proud of whatever it's for, but it comes off like he's flaunting an achievement or credentials the more he tries to get it in the frame. Maybe it's a generational thing? Or maybe he's "that guy" that frames his certificate of appreciation in his parking toll booth. I'm not gonna pick on the guy for being bald or wearing glasses, but his mannerisms don't exactly endear me to what he's saying, as if what he's saying didn't grate my ears like bare bum sliding down a gravel road.

Not surprising, the FIRST video I clicked on (linked above) displays some of that grating, delicate genius:

"Last night in Brooklyn, the Blazers took care of business - BIG time they took care of business, with a resounding victory over the Brooklyn Nets. And I'll tell you what, they beat 'em in every category you wanna pick. You wanna talk about long distance shooting, regular shooting, field goal shooo... everything... everything."

Lemon shrimp, fried shrimp, peppered shrimp... We got. Take it easy Bubba.

I'm with SPD on this - "More attention from being a jerk." Although, I would replace "jerk" with perhaps: confrontational, disparaging, negative, disagreeable. It's, refreshing perhaps(?) to see him forced away from that a bit with a 9-2 Blazer record. Winning cures all, or at least we can hope.
