<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dunksworth:</div><div class="quote_post">Not to be a party pooper or anything but:
In the levitation one, he couldv'e been pulled by some type of string or pulley system, I don't know.... we didn't get to see the beginning where he tries to convince us there's no machinery helping him out. David Copperfield used to do all those flying acts and at the same time convince us that there are no strings involved... So this one is cool, but not overly impressive.
The one where he's hit by a car, now that was obviously done through the work of editting. Right before he gets hit, the camera cuts and shows a driver side view of him getting smashed. So it's nothing more than a camera trick.
The teleport one was okay but we never got to see behind the garbage can so there's a good chance he could've ran right before the can completely hit the ground and gone through an opening in the crowd where people who were in on it would be. It was pretty impressive how he got on top of the roof in a relativly short amount of time though.
Now the vanishing girl, that's a real head scratcher. Unless there's some sort of opening on the ground, I don't see how he did that one. Or maybe the people in the crowd were in on it too and they let her slip through that opening where her slippers were, I don't know. If those weren't the case, then that's a really impressive trick.</div>
The whole thrill of 'magic' is not trying to figure out how it's done but rather believing in and letting your mind open to the possibility of the supernatural. Angel will admitt himself that there's an explanation behind all of his 'tricks', but that's not really the point, is it?
