Critics warn Oregon will become the 'suicide tourism capital' of America after judge rules people no longer need to live in the state to go to one of its assisted suicide clinics
  • A federal court ruled the Oregon's law requiring a person to be a resident to receive an assisted suicide was unconstitutional
  • Critics fear that this will open the door for 'suicide tourism' as people can easily travel to the state to die
  • Advocates say that this provides equal rights to people within the U.S. and hope laws in other states will be lifted as well
  • Around 4,000 assisted suicide prescriptions were written from 1998 to 2017, almost all of them for white Americans

I think I saw the clinic in Roads End.

We'll just throw a Blazers hat on them when they are done, they'll look right at home.

I may be the most cynical old cuss on the planet, but I can't help but wonder if this right here isn't part of the issue. I can just see the Tucker Carlson types ranting about this being part of the plot to get rid of white people.:dunno:

Oregon is almost 87% white so the 90% number doesn't seem like an abnormality to me.

People have to die somewhere

When I bought my house, realtor made a point of telling me previous owner had not actually died in the house. Like it would be haunted?
